May 10, 2009 - from CaringBridge

Hey everyone,
It's Ian & Bonner - we are really tired after a long week, but mommy finally turned on the computer tonight for the first time in a week!  Can you believe that; she says that she used to always be on the computer before we were born!  I think she has other things now to keep her busy :-) (isn't that little smiley face so cute; mommy taught us how to make that and Bonner just loves it!)

Anyway, we don't have much time, but wanted to let everyone know about our trip to Boston last week!  We got on the "big bird" Monday afternoon and did so good!  Bonner slept the whole time and I played -- at least right until we were about to land!

Mommy says that some people wait their whole lives to get to Fenway Park ...
 well, here we are!

We had a long week of firsts: our first airplane ride; our first ride in a car (taxi) without a car seat; our first trip to Fenway Park to see the Red Socks (mommy says that you spell it different but we like to be correct); our first boat ride on the Duck Tour; and our first luxury hotel (more about that later)!  The trip was great; it rained some but the hotel took care of us with umbrellas!

And the hotel was great!  Mommy called it The Lenox Hotel and it was bee-u-tiful (tough word to spell).  Anyway, they came to pick us up at the airport and already had carseats for us ready to go.  We got to the lobby and they gave us both our own frog stuffed animals which are so soft.  Bonner likes to eat the frog's feet!  We got up to our room and our cribs were set up and both of them had a big rubber ducky and bath toys in them.  We both like to gnaw (that silent 'G' gets Bonner everytime) on the duckies.  And then on the day we were going to watch our first baseball game, they bought us Red Socks outfits for the game!  The people were so sweet and they stopped us everytime they saw us to make us smile!  We hope that we made them smile a little, too!

We took the Duck Tour, too, around the city!  It was a little chilly but the truck that turned into a boat was really cool!

We came back on the airplane on Friday and it's been busy for mommy since we landed.  She had to do alot of laundry and get all of our summer clothes and bathing suits ready for our trip to the beach!

It's been a great day with our mommy today!  Yesterday was her birthday but we haven't really celebrated yet!  And, with Mommy's Day today, she has had a big weekend!  We are excited for another weekend of firsts this week -- the big bath tub mommy calls a swimming pool should be fun! And we heard that sand tastes good so we'll see!

Well, we are really sleepy and have a big week ahead of us so night-night!

Love,
Ian & Bonner
